During August, Wayne's work was focused mainly on highways and in school zones, as well as in areas where issues has been reported, either by staff or members of the community and campground monitoring.
Over the course of the month, Wayne stopped 15 drivers for speeding, going over the 100 km/h limit, and three for running a Stop Sign. Of those stopped for speeding, one did not have a valid insurance card.
August also saw Wayne investigate reports of suspicious activity on County property (trespassing), as well as assisting the RCMP with an accident involving a gravel truck. As the school season started back up, Wayne spent the last few days of the month mainly in school zones.
