Roads Bans

Road Bans are implemented on County roads as and when required, to protect our roads from becoming damaged during adverse conditions, as outlined in Policy PW04. Permits will be issued to commercial and agricultural vehicles operating under Road Use Agreements. 

As of 9:00 a.m. on April 20, 2026, a road ban will be in place in Saddle Hills County. The Road Ban notification can be viewed below. 

The Province will also issue Road Bans on Provincial Highways, as appropriate. Details of these can be found on the Government of Alberta website, at www.alberta.ca/road-bans.
